CORE is growing and expanding across the country. Our latest Innovation Hub is launching soon in Newman in WA’s iconic Pilbara region.
We are looking for a Business Hub Lead to join the CORE team. Based in Newman, this brand new role will lead the establishment and growth of our purpose-built Business Hub, set to open mid 2022.
We are looking for a dynamic person with previous experience in customer service, event management or as a business owner. You will have a passion for delivering exceptional and proactive customer service with outstanding communication and presentation skills. You will be a natural community builder, constantly looking to facilitate meaningful connections between businesses in our ecosystem. You’ll enjoy working autonomously as well as in collaboration with the rest of our team based in Perth and Adelaide.
Applications from both part-time and full-time applicants are encouraged with some out of hours work required and occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
As our Business Hub Lead you will be responsible will include:
First point of contact for enquiries and visitors to the Business Hub
Responsible for establishing and maintaining a welcoming, well organised work environment that is safe and inclusive at all times
Proactively engage with the East Pilbara business community to attract new Hub residents
Build strong connections with users of the Hub by asking insightful questions so that you can assist them to identify new opportunities
Coordinate the delivery of workshops and networking events including communication with keynote speakers, catering and AV equipment as required
Assist with basic IT queries like connecting to the WIFI and accessing the digital member platform
Take pride in keeping the Business Hub clean, tidy and functional including coordinating maintenance with suppliers as required
Prepare regular reports on Hub KPI’s
