International Women’s Day: Get to know the women behind CORE Innovation

As an organisation we believe strongly in supporting women, especially in the largely male-dominated industries that we work across. We choose to challenge the norms in our industry by supporting women in the workplace, ensuring we provide platforms for female founders and by providing more opportunities in general for women in mining, energy and resources.

We are very proud to say that 80% of CORE staff are in fact female! Working across all levels of our business, including leadership, we thought we would take a moment to introduce the fantastic women who make CORE Innovation Hub the vibrant business it is today.

CORE Innovation Hub are champions of women across our industries. Alongside our proud female-led business, we have been lucky enough to support the advancement of women through initiatives such as our Core Sprint Female Founders Program in 2020 which featured seven up-and-coming women-led businesses and hosting events and masterclasses with inspiring female leaders such as Dr Carla Boehl. We are also proud to partner with the likes of Alex Blood, Executive Director of Mineral Resources with the South Australian Department of Energy and Mining, leading the way for women across the resources sector and Foundation Partner of CORE Innovation Hub in Adelaide.

As a team, we look forward to continuing to showcase women and making sure their work is recognised and amplified because a diverse industry is better for us all.
