Mark Keogh Training wins ADAPT by Design Scholarship

CORE Innovation Hub is pleased announce the first winner of our six month ADAPT by Design scholarship, Mark Keogh Training.

Mark and his sons Bradley and Luke have been in the Pilbara for 8 years, 6 years in Newman.

Mark Keogh Training was formally set up 4 years ago and is predominantly run by Mark and Sheree Humphreys. Sheree and Mark are also supported by a pool of local residents who come on-board on a casual basis when needed. The business has grown from being run from a small donga on the driveway to now Mark owning his own business premises in Newman and even more expansion on the horizon.

Mark Keogh Training represents 7 RTO's offering training in First Aid from CPR to Occupational First Aid, 4WD, Recovery and Towing Training, Mental Health First Aid and a host of workplace safety training courses. Over 60 courses delivered everywhere from Perth to Broome.

Mark Keogh Training works extensively with RIO, FMG and Sodexo delivering First Aid, Fire Safety, 4WD, Bus and Truck 4WD, Mental Health First Aid and Workplace Safety Training. They also work with contractors to mine sites to help enable staff to get onsite and perform their business contracts. This sometimes involves running emergency courses for local Newman businesses after hours to ensure they can return to site.

ADAPT by Design is the platform that transforms businesses into high-achieving, resilient organisations that are wonderful places for people to work.

on being told of winning the scholarship Marc said,

“What a great opportunity that CORE Innovation has presented to our little remote business. It is exciting to receive such valuable support for business in rural Australia where sometimes we are so intense in working IN our business, we can neglect that it is just as crucial to work ON our business.

Getting access to Adapt by Design via Core Innovation Hub will undoubtedly help us to grow with stability and future proof our business for the long term. We are excited to start this journey in early 2023!”

The ADAPT Scholarship is giving 3 businesses access to ADAPT for FREE for 6 months to help establish the foundations for business owners to build sustainable long-term growth for themselves and their teams.
