MEC Mining is a global mining consultancy specialising in onsite management and technical services solutions for the international mining industry. They were established in 2005 and today have over 60 employees working across their Brisbane and Perth offices.
Andrew Dittmann is the Technical Services Manager for Western Australia and is responsible for spearheading the growth of MEC Mining into Western Australia.
Using CORE Innovation Hub as their West Australian base, Andrew manages the day-to-day of the Western Australian business operations by developing client relationships, mentoring and growing the WA team, drawing on his technical expertise to lead projects, and expanding the success of the MEC brand's capability of offerings in this geographical sector.

When entering the Western Australian market, MEC Mining’s primary focus was to setup an office within the CBD which was in close proximity to their major clients. CORE not only allowed this, but also enabled the company to integrate into a well-established community made up of existing Mining and METS companies.
