Mike Kyriacou joins CORE Start as Advisor
CORE Innovation Hub is very excited to announce the return of Mike Kyriacou as Mentor for the next round of CORE Start, our 12 week national residency program designed to help you build the skills to effectively and efficiently scale your startup.
Mike is well-versed in what it take to establish, grow and scale a start up having worked initially in the resource industry before migrating into product management and then venture creation. Mike has designed and built consumer, B2B and enterprise products, both software and hardware.
At the venture level, Mike has started, bought, built and sold multiple technology companies. In 2008 Mike was selected as one of 15 entrepreneurs for the Silicon Valley Immersion Program, which led to him working as a VC and advising startups in Silicon Valley’s technology venture ecosystem for the last 11 years.
Four years ago, Mike cofounded Strattica Labs based on breakthrough AI technology to parse business data to produce actionable insights. The company is now chaired by the former head of American Express Bank in Europe and maintains a pipeline of customers which themselves total over $USD 120B assets-under-management.
Today Mike is a resident of both Perth and California. He advises portfolio companies at VC firms and multiple accelerators in Silicon Valley, Europe and Australia. A UC Berkeley Industry Fellow, Mike is also on the advisory board of Santa Clara University’s CIE Levey School of Business and is Expert-in-Residence at Boostrap Labs (San Francisco Venture Fund).
Having joined CORE Innovation Hub in 2020 in the role of Mentor for our CORE Start program, we are so pleased to welcome Mike back to Mentor our next group of innovators in March.

You will also build a 12-month business plan under the guidance of industry experts and take part in expert-driven masterclass series to help you build a strong foundation for future success.
