See the Pictures! CORE Innovation Hub Adelaide Launch Party

CORE Innovation Hub was so excited to officially open our new and expanded Hub in Lot Fourteen in Adelaide on March 23, thanks to the support of founding partner the SA Department of Energy and Mining.

The Hub aims to foster new ideas, research and partnerships to turbocharge South Australia’s energy and mining sector.

“Our new and expanded Adelaide Innovation Hub will support business locally and nationally by connecting them to Australia’s largest ecosystem for innovators in the energy and resources sector,” Renee Hakendorf, National Lead, Core Innovation Hub, said.

“It’s an exciting time for transformation across the energy and resources sector, especially in South Australia with the State’s focus on renewable and future fuels.”

CORE was joined by the Minister of Energy and Mining, the Hon. Tom Koutsantonis who alongside our National Lead, Renee Hakendorf unveiled our commemorative rock - a solid piece of Malachite from the Burra Mine in SA that operated in the 1970s. We were delighted to be joined by so many of guests including a number of our Foundation Partners, The Department of Energy and Mining and METS Ignited.

The official expansion in Adelaide coincided with the announcement of 2023 Hot 30 Awards recognising the best technologists and entrepreneurs driving innovation across Australia’s critical industries including space and defence.

We were delighted to honour our three South Australian companies; Prepd Hydration, Skills Lab and South Australia Innovator of the Year Award Winner, LAAMP.
