What is Groundbreaker of the Year?

The Groundbreaker Award recognises and celebrates a standout company that is pushing boundaries, demonstrating innovation and creating meaningful impact within the ecosystem across Australia.

Awarding an Innovator of the Month between March and November, each Innovator of the Month will be in the running for the Groundbreaker of the Year Award.

With two awards to win - Groundbreaker of the Year and People’s Choice - we’re celebrating and supporting those who are truly innovating their industries.

How does it work?

  • A business is notified as an Innovator of the Month

  • In November, each Innovator of the Month is eligible for Groundbreaker of the Year

  • There will be 2 Groundbreaker of the Year awards - one from our panel of judges, and one determined by public vote

  • Winners will be announced and celebrated on the 19th November at CORE Connect events in SA & WA

How to Apply

It’s simple - you don’t! We’ve made this an easy, no-nomination awards system. Businesses will be assessed and notified by our panel of industry judges.

You’re eligible if:

  • Your business is based in Australia and has an ABN

  • Your business is creating or being innovative in your industry

  • You’re ready to scale and benefit from expert support and exposure
