CORE Innovation Hub started more than 5 years ago with a vision to drive innovation across the energy and mining industry. Founders, Brodie, Zane and Tamryn set out to create a space where energy and mining innovators, technologists and entrepreneurs could hone their businesses, develop their products and services and connect with professionals and leaders from the energy and mining space.

Today CORE Hub, Perth is the flagship of three spaces across the country and the home of a national innovation ecosystem made up of energy and mining professionals working across the entire sector.

CORE Hub, Perth is a hive of activity when it comes to our regular events. Our curated series of events has been designed to drive connection across the sector and a platform to discuss important ideas and the big issues facing the energy and mining industry. From technological development and adoption across the sector to diversity and inclusion and net zero emissions targets and how innovation can provide new and novel solutions to help solve some of the biggest energy and mining challenges.

TECH TALKS
Each month CORE hosts Tech Talks, a members-only lunch and learn style event connecting innovators & entrepreneurs with business & industry leaders for a deep dive into some of the technologies and innovations shaping the future of energy & mining. The smaller audience provides the opportunity for guests to really dig in to the topic with our guest speakers leaving ample time for insightful question and answer and in-depth group discussions.
CORE CONNECTS
CORE Hub, Perth also hosts a larger monthly networking event, CORE Connects, where we explore some of the big ideas in the energy and mining sector. The conversation series sees a mixture of guest speakers and panel-style events tackle some of the big questions facing the energy and mining sector and explore solutions and pathways to create a bigger and more sustainable future for the energy and mining industry.
COMMUNITY COFFEE
Our fortnightly Community Coffee event is an informal way to get to know the CORE team and our Perth members. Each fortnight we are joined by a guest speaker - be that a CORE Hub Member or a member of the broader ecosystem to briefly share more about their business and the current projects they are working on. This is a real-world insight into the ins and outs of entrepreneurship and industry.
