Applications Now Open: 2021 Curtin Ignition

 

The Curtin Ignition Program is an intensive entrepreneurial education program that runs from the 5th – 10th September, 2021. The program is for aspiring entrepreneurs, academics and corporate innovators to trial and prepare business ideas for the commercial environment. The Ignition program has had notable and continued success within the Australian business innovation space for over 10 years. The program has launched internationally in Singapore in 2019 and has plans for expansion in 2021.

What is Ignition?
Ignition comprises of practical teaching sessions, expert clinics, mentor sessions and experienced advice and support from leading entrepreneurs and innovators. It will give you the tools, contacts and confidence to transform your idea into a successful business venture.

Who is Ignition for?
Curtin Ignition is suited to founders of early stage, high-growth business ventures and people with new ideas that have the potential to become high-growth, worldwide businesses. Founders of an early-stage business and anyone with a specific idea for a new or improved product or service, and a passion for developing that idea into a real business proposition over one intensive week, are encouraged to apply.

You might be:

  • Thinking of starting a novel business;

  • Currently employed or at home and looking to propel your idea;

  • A student, graduate or academic considering your own venture;

  • Owner, founder or senior manager of an existing business considering diversification of products and markets, or a new venture.

Cost
The program total cost is $3,250 and comprises of a blend of keynote and workshop teaching sessions, small group mentoring, panel, clinic and networking. With the support of sponsors, Curtain is offering up to fifty-four (54) fully-funded scholarships for the 2021 Curtin Ignition Program.

Receive credit for completing Curtin Ignition
Completion of Curtin Ignition + an assessment is the equivalent of 25 credit points (1 unit) in the Curtin MBA and Curtin MIBE. For more information email execed@curtin.edu.au.
