CORE appointed to deliver on vision for the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP) in Neerabup
CORE Innovation Hub is very pleased to be appointed as the Operator of the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP), in Perth’s north, by DevelopmentWA today.
The initial three-year term will see CORE responsible for attracting and securing new members to Neerabup precinct.
CORE Innovation Hub will lead industry-driven collaborative model to achieve AARP vision CORE Innovation Hub, alongside early collaboration partners METS Ignited, Amira Global and Robotics Australia Group have a shared vision of building the AARP into a thriving collaborative ecosystem with facilities and opportunities for industry to advance robotics and automation technologies and capabilities to drive transformation across the mining and resources, energy, oil and gas, space and defence, agriculture and other sectors.
On behalf of DevelopmentWA’s Industrial Lands Authority, CORE will lead an industry-driven collaboration model alongside partners to deliver a leading research, development and testing ground for automation, remote operations, and robotics.
Users of the precinct, which will form one of the biggest test facilities of its kind in the world, will have access to planned facilities including Common User test beds, laboratories and design co-labs, together with a Common User Facility (CUF) operations building.
“CORE Innovation Hub brings experience managing innovative facilities, building collaborative ecosystems and driving transformation across the mining and resources, energy, oil and gas, space and defence sectors. Their local, interstate and international relationships will be important to building the membership base and adoption of the AARP”, said Lands Minister John Carey.

CORE Innovation Hub has already received more than 110 expressions of interest for access to the facility and partnership opportunities.
