Member Profile: Commit Works

Commit Works is a global organisation leading the way in work management software that improves the coordination of day-to-day work, allowing onsite employees to work together as a well organised, high performing team.

The company has been established for over 10 years and has more than 60 employees in offices across Brisbane, Sudbury, South Africa, Chile, Ukraine, the Philippines and now in Perth, WA thanks to CORE Innovation Hub.

Working on major projects with clients such as BHP, Rio Tinto, Glencore, South32, Macmahon, Anglo American, Barrick Gold, Oceana Gold, and many others in mining and resources, establishing a base at CORE Innovation Hub allows the company to connect with and leverage CORE’s established innovation ecosystem both locally and nationally.

CORE is an innovation hub for the resources sector which allows us the opportunity to collaborate and work with CORE’s established national ecosystem
— Business Development Lead, Penny LaMers.

Commit Works has been leading the digital transformation of integrated frontline work management across multiple industries and has seen resource sector operations rapidly and sustainably lift their performance by more than 10% using the Commit Works software.

Penny says, “Our structured partnering approach ensures we work together to set and deliver on realistic expectations for closing the gap between current and potential performance”.

The team is future focused, actively driving digital transformation in multiple corporations across the world. Their approach is backed by the belief that when all work is planned, coordinated, visible, safe and productive, operations shift gear into an ultra-responsive plan-do-check-act cycle, driving better decision-making and continuous improvement. As a result, more of the plan gets done more often: increasing production, decreasing cost, improving compliance to plan, and making operations safer.

With a goal of helping all resource operations adopt a Commitment System, the team at Commit Works is empowering the teams of the future to commit to and execute the right work, at the right time, right across a mine site.
