CORE Innovation Hub was proud to attend and exhibit at AustMine 2021. The team was excited to connect with so many people and build new relationships as well as strengthen existing partnerships. Our SA team flew in and it was fantastic to be joined by the Department of Energy and Mining and to see so many of our members and Hot 30 Winners represented on the floor including AI Spanner, Dash Maintainer Tools, INX Software, LiveMine, MX3 Diagnostics, Portable PPB, Razor Labs, and RaptorTech.

CORE Innovation Hub and BHP are set to launch the first centre of excellence in Newman, WA, providing support for the Mining Equipment Technology and Services (METS) industry. The specialist METS business hub, co-working and education space will support the region and the surrounding mines, demonstrating a strong commitment to investment in future skills and supply chain capabilities.

CORE Innovation Hub is so pleased to announce it will be returning to Austmine in 2021! After being postponed in 2020, CORE is excited to return to Australia’s largest mining conference and expo from the 25-27th of May.

In 2020, CORE Innovation Hub launched the Hot 30 Awards designed to recognise and celebrate the hottest Australian innovators in the mining, energy, resources, oil & gas, space and defence industries.

The Hot 30 is an annual curated list of technologists and entrepreneurs driving innovation in some of Australia’s most important industries.

Core Innovation is excited to announce that Aldoro Resources has become the newest resident of our Perth Hub! ASX listed, Aldoro Resources has a number of advanced gold and nickel exploration projects underway in Western Australia including the Penny South Project, Narndee Igneous Complex, and Unaly Hill South.

SafeAI, head-quartered in Silicon Valley, is working on a solution which could improve productivity, solve labour shortages and save millions in costs. The company has established a base in Perth and is expanding its operations in a further investment in the Australian resources industry.
